A huge congratulations to Dr Alex Thompson who has been appointed director of the Translational Medical Sciences (TMS) academic unit. TMS is a high-performing multidisciplinary unit which sits within the School of Medicine, comprising over 100 of the best academic and clinical researchers working on topics ranging from regenerative medicine to cancer epidemiology, and of course, including our own BCASC group.
Alex said, “The future is ours and I strongly believe we have the people to make real gains over the coming years. We have many achievements to celebrate and with the right Team mentality, collegiate and collaborative spirit we will have many more in the future.”
